Lingkhim Woods was established in 2010 as “Wangmo Furniture” under the small-scale business category. Back in 2010, it was located in Debsi, Thimphu Dzongkhag. The company falls under the manufacturing sector and it only deals with the manufacturing of furniture from wood. Wangmo Furniture aimed to focus on the best quality product that would satisfy the customers. However, with the edge-to-edge competition with Wood Craft Centre, the company could not hold on to its goals. Until 2013, the company was given out on lease to the present owner Mr. Mon Bdr. Rai. In August 2022, the company cancelled their old license under the name “Wangmo Furniture” and made a new license with the name “Lingkhim Woods” and it was relocated to Youselpang, Chang gewog, Thimphu Dzongkhag. The company also has its showroom at Changjiji, opposite to the Helipad.
